 File Organization &
Preparing Your Slides
  • File and folder organization is not a problem. For example, if you have a tray of 80 slides for an event like a "Trip To FLorida 1949",  remove the slides from the tray and place them in a plastic zip lock bag marked with the event name. We will create a unique folder named for the event on your collection's DVD. Don't worry about the exact order of the slides in the bag. Using photo software like Picasa you will be able to easily organise the images in the folder or create new ones. This step is part of the creative process you will love. Caution: As you move forward working with your digital collection the old slides won't have much value to you. Our suggestion, don't spend time working through a process to put your slides back into their original storage or order.
  • Remove any metal protection rings.
  • Important - We use state of the art scanning equipment and our technicians carefully handle your slides. Our slide processing produces great results. Many slides will be improved by removing surface imperfections and restoring color. However, our scanning service cannot correct or improve poor exposure quality, damaged slides or focus related problems.
